Dr. Smitha is a Consultant High-Risk Obstetrician at Milann Hospitals, Kumara Park. Her areas of interest include recurrent pregnancy loss, endocrinology, and preventive women’s health. She has been handling IVF pregnancy for over a decade now and has successfully managed the pregnancy period along with surrogacy pregnancies as well.
Dr. Smitha has authored a chapter in Elsevier Publication Critically Ill Pregnant Woman. She is a treasurer at SMFMI. She is a founder of Yugen Bharath, a healthcare start-up, and part of the 200 cohort of WSP 3 / IIM B. She strongly believes that what we need for the future of healthcare in India is transformational leadership and empathy. She is also pursuing a global health cath care leadership program at Harvard. She completed her MBBS from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College in 2004, DNB OBG from Sagar Hospital in 2011, Fellow Fetomaternal Medicine (FFM) RGUHS in 2012 and MBA HHSM from BITS Pilani in 2022
